In 1897, master confectioner Theodor Krumm established a small confectionery under the name Café Krumm and in the process set the cornerstone for an incomparable success story: his self-invented, refined almond macaroon was also welcomed in the royal court. In 1912, the confectioner was appointed as purveyor to the royal court – which saw the emergence of the brand name Tekrum, which still exists today.
Today, well over 100 years after Café Krumm was opened, Tekrum is Germany’s leading supplier of exquisite confectionery pastries.
