In 1897, master confectioner Theodor Krumm established a small confectionery under the name Café Krumm and in the process set the cornerstone for an incomparable success story: his self-invented, refined almond macaroon was also welcomed in the royal court. In 1912, the confectioner was appointed as purveyor to the royal court – which saw the emergence of the brand name Tekrum, which still exists today. 
 
Today, well over 100 years after Café Krumm was opened, Tekrum is Germany’s leading supplier of exquisite confectionery pastries. Behind the Tekrum brand lies the name of its founder: The Master Confectioner Theodor Krumm, who founded his confectionery business in 1897 in Ravensburg. With his passion for the confectioner’s craft and using the best ingredients he created the finest pastries so that he could spoil people. And in this way he quickly delighted connoisseurs far beyond his home region.

Over the course of time Tekrum has continued to develop constantly and has always remained true to its quality standards.

For example, today we only use sustainably cultivated cocoa with the UTZ Certified seal to make the chocolate in our confectionery creations.
