A prime example of East German reconstruction: Griesson - de Beukelaer celebrates 25 years of operations at the Kahla location near Jena. The Kahla plant is one of Europe’s most modern baking factories: to enable this, a figure in the hundreds of millions was invested and numerous long-term jobs were created. In the context of the company’s anniversary, the managing partner Heinz Gries receives Kahla‘s “special services medal" from the hands of Kahla’s mayor. At the same time, Griesson - de Beukelaer’s management donates €25,000 to local children and youth projects in the small Thuringian town.
