Where can I find nutritional values for your products?

Where can I find an allergy list for your products?
You can find information on allergies in the biscuit finder, in the nutritional values area and also in our product catalogue (21.49 MB).
Which products can I eat despite being lactose intolerant?
We currently only have a few baked goods in our product range which are produced without milk products, such as the Griesson Soft Cake with dark chocolate (orange and raspberry), Griesson Soft Cake Orange Minis, DeBeukelaer Bio Farmer Cookies and Tekrum Knusprige Eistüten. More precise information can be found in our allergy lists.
However, even products which contain no ingredients containing milk can accidentally be cross-contaminated with minimal amounts of milk ingredients during the production of primary ingredients and during the production process. If cross-contamination is possible, we have stated this in the list of ingredients as “may contain traces of...”
Which products can I eat despite being gluten intolerant?
None of our products are gluten-free, since all products contain wheat flour or wheat starch.
I have a peanut allergy. How safe are your products for people with peanut allergies?
At the current time, only a few of the products in our range contain peanut ingredients. If a biscuit or cake contains peanuts, this has been stated accordingly in the list of ingredients.
However, slight contamination of ingredients through peanut constituents may occur during primary production and manufacturing, resulting in so-called cross-contaminations. This has been stated under the list of ingredients, with the declaration “may contain traces of”.
I have a nut/almond allergy. What products can I eat?
Only a few of our products contain hazelnuts or almonds. If a biscuit contains hazelnuts or almonds (e.g. Big Nut Chocolate Mountain Cookies or Griesson Café Musica), we have stated this in the list of ingredients.
However, products which, according to the recipe, contain neither hazelnuts nor almonds, may contain traces of nuts/almonds. This particularly applies to all products that contain chocolate, in which cross contamination must be anticipated. We state this in the list of ingredients with the advice “may contain traces of...”
What does the term E471 mean?
E471 is an emulsifier (mono-diglyceride from fatty acids) and is mainly produced using glycerol of plant origin. E471 can also be of animal or genetically modified origins. The use of E471 of plant origin is a matter of course for our products.
Key facts about our products for people of Muslim faith
Many Muslim consumers avoid ingredients derived from pork and alcohol because of their faith.
Animal ingredients such as milk and egg products are used in the production of nearly all our products. Ingredients gained from deceased animals or from pork / beef are not used, apart from in Prinzen Taler. Here animal rennet is used in the production process.
Some baked goods contain alcohol. We have to inform the consumer of this in the list of ingredients. For example, that the Tekrum Schwarzwälder Kirsch Törtchen product contains alcohol.
In addition, small amounts of alcohol may be used as a carrier substance in flavouring, but this evaporates during baking.

Do your products contain gelatine?
No, none of our products contain gelatine.
Are your products suitable for vegetarians?
All of our products are suitable for vegetarians. Only Prinzen Taler are produced using animal rennet.
Are your products suitable for vegans?
No, all of our products contain milk or egg products and are therefore not suitable for vegans. We also produce a small number of products without adding milk or egg, e.g. organic LEICHT&CROSS crispbread; however we cannot guarantee that our production processes (food and packaging) satisfy the strict requirements of vegans.
Do you use genetically modified products in your production processes?
None of the ingredients, additives and flavourings used in our products are obtained from or composed of genetically modified organisms. The products are therefore not subject to obligatory labelling according to Regulation (EC)1829/2003 and Regulation (EC)1830/2003.
