A crisp chocolate coating over soft a fruit mousse: Biscuit d’Orange is the name of the new variety from Griesson - de Beukelaer (GdB), available in shops under the DeBeukelaer brand from February 2011. The fruity, soft combination of Biscuit d’Orange consists of a tempting layer of delicate milk chocolate over creamy orange mousse on delicate egg pastry.
With this new product, GdB and the tradition-rich biscuit brand, DeBeukelaer, are seizing on a strong trend: milk chocolate, with a growth in turnover of 13 percent, is Germany's most popular variety (source: NLI, LEH + DM, turnover, biscuits with milk chocolate, YTD KW 22/2009 to 22/2010).
