Expansion of social media activities / Competition with attractive prizes
Take a bite, forward and win great prizes: from March, Griesson - de Beukelaer (GdB) is sending Prinzen Rolle, Germany’s favourite biscuit, on a long trip around the world and is starting a broad-based Facebook campaign. Prinzen Rolle brings friends together the world over: Under the motto, “I love Prinzen Rolle”, users can invite their contacts to take a bite from a virtual Prinzen Rolle biscuit and to forward it to other friends. At the same time, a post – “Would you like to nibble my yummy biscuit, too?“ – is placed on the user’s Facebook notice board. A map of the world will indicate where the biscuit has already been nibbled. Once the culinary greeting has taken off, the sender will receive progressive updates on its status and will be able to track the regions and countries to which the biscuit has already been sent on a map.
Joining in is worthwhile: with the Prinzen Rolle Facebook Competition, all participants will be entered into the draw at the end of April and have the chance of winning either a city break for six persons to Hamburg or Munich, four tickets for Europa Park in Rust, two 100 Euro vouchers for the Jochen Schweizer Experience site or one of six jumbo Prinzen Rolle packs.
With the Prinzen Rolle Facebook app, GdB is further expanding its social media activities and boosting its commitment to one of the most important social networks. In order to generate additional traffic for the application, GdB is placing banner advertisements referring to the campaign on Facebook in parallel to the campaign.
Prinzen Rolle is Germany’s favourite sweet biscuit and has been available in a range of varieties for over 55 years. With its creamy filling, the crisp sandwich biscuit tempts young and old to enjoyment.
