The Coblence Royal Couple, Prince Stefan of Fugue & Music and Her Loveliness, the Confluentia Daniela, is well-prepared for the madcap days: Griesson - de Beukelaer (GdB) has presented the Couple with 22 pallets of biscuits to distribute among their loony subjects at the Shrove Monday procession.

Their Madcap Majesties and their entourage from the Coblence-Neuendorf “Friends of the Rhine” 1845 Association e.V. and the delegation of the AKK (the Coblence Mardi Gras Committee) received the sweet cargo at the GdB Logistics Centre / BLG. The incumbent Coblence Royal Couple has been given this crispy contribution for the Shrove Monday procession for many years now.

Peter Gries, Press Spokesman at GdB, was delighted to present the give-aways personally: “It gives us renewed pleasure each year to present the incumbent Carnival Royal Couple with the give-aways and to know that many children and adults will enjoy our dainty treats.” Following the presentation, there was a tour of GdB’s European Logistics Centre: approximately 450 pallets of biscuits are processed here every hour. The overall storage capacity is 40,000 pallets.
