After Last Year’s Success: the Griesson Peach-Passion Fruit Soft Cake of the Season is back!

Strong-selling Summer Edition in Shops from March to August

The most successful Griesson Soft Cake Seasonal Edition of all time is coming back: The summer variety peach-passion fruit (300 grammes) will be available in shops again for six months from March. The exotic chocolate biscuit by Griesson - de Beukelaer (GdB), launched for the first time last spring, was a best-seller in the shops in 2011 – with a 15 percent growth compared with the Seasonal Edition for 2010. The combination of crisp dark chocolate, soft biscuit and a fruity peach-passion fruit filling will also bring retailers additional turnover this summer.


With the Griesson Soft Cake Seasonal Editions, GdB brings a breath of fresh air to the bakery shelf twice a year: The most popular flavours of the season are selected for the Summer and Winter Editions, which are each available in shops for six months in rotation. Perfectly geared to the seasonal high points, these soft biscuits are always in fashion. With only one shelf, they keep the range up to date and ensure a top turnover.


For over 30 years, the Griesson Soft Cake has delighted both old and young connoisseurs. It is available in orange, raspberry and cherry varieties. New for 2011: orange with milk chocolate.
