For us, baking has a lot to do with nature. This is a point of honour for us; this is why our LEICHT&CROSS crispy bread and DeBeukelaer Bio Farmer Cookies are certified with the organic seal.



Griesson - de Beukelaer is conscious of its responsibility to consumers and the environment. We therefore attach great importance to the point of origin and treatment of our raw materials. Food safety and consumer protection are our highest priorities. Only the highest quality makes its way into our bakery. In doing this, in 2010 we used approximately 574 tonnes of organic quality raw materials. Our main organic raw materials are flour, sugar and rolled oats.

 

With us you can always be sure that as a matter of principle, we never use genetically modified raw materials. And we deliberately use organically farmed raw materials, because generally organic foodstuffs contain fewer additives. We are also careful to deal with nature on a substantial basis when we are manufacturing our products.



Furthermore, the Fresenius Institute rates Griesson – de Beukelaer as one of the best companies for product quality management. The  International Food Standard certification authority highlights the outstanding quality management system and rates the individual production sites at the highest level. The IFS certificate attests that quality is of the utmost importance to us.
