Sugar is one of the most important staple foods for humans and serves as an important energy source for the organism. Dextrose, for example, is essential for the functioning of the brain and muscles. In baked goods, sugar serves as a sweetener and to give mass to the dough.
In our products, we use table sugar which is obtained from sugar beets or sugar cane. Dextrose and invert sugar are also used. Dextrose can be obtained among other things from wheat, corn or potatoes. Invert sugar, however, is a mixture of dextrose and glucose. Honey, for example, contains natural invert sugar.
