UTZ CERTIFIED cocoa
As a family business we take sustainable thinking and action for granted. In order to simultaneously guarantee the highest quality, we buy all our products are 100% brand UTZ-certified cocoa. We promote a socially sustainable and environmentally responsible cocoa farming.

Eggs from alternative systems
We are aware of our responsibility towards nature and place high value on the origin of our raw materials. Since early 2007, we only use eggs from chickens from a barn. This was Griesson - de Beukelaer in 2009 awarded by the international animal protection organization "Compassion in World Farming" with the Animal Welfare Award "The Golden Egg".

Palm oil from sustainable sources
Griesson - de Beukelaer relies on the use of palm oil and palm kernel oil from sustainable sources. Since 03/29/2010 we are a member of the RSPO (Roundtable of Sustainable Palm Oil) and support the cultivation and use of certified palm oil. The RSPO is the best-known sustainable certification system for palm oil. (Our RSPO Certificate)
 
Our goal is the timely use of certified palm oil and palm kernel fat in all products. The conversion is dependent on the availability of palm fatty raw materials and thus can take several months to years. By 2015 the used palm oil and palm kernel fat should come from fully sustainable, segregated crops. Already in 2012 we will reach a share of more than 85% of sustainably grown palm oil and palm kernel oil.
 
Use of organic raw materials
With our products, organic oat flakes and cookies Farmer & Easy Cross Organic Three grain we use selected natural organic ingredients and dispense with the production entirely to the use of flavorings and flavor enhancers. Therefore, both products carry the organic seal of the European Union.
