Top quality is the benchmark at Griesson - de Beukelaer: The German Agricultural Society (DLG) has once again honored the family-owned company with the “Award for Long-Standing Product Quality” for the 38th time, recognizing its comprehensive understanding of quality and its consistent implementation. “Quality is part of who we are. Together as a team, we meet the highest international requirements for food safety and product quality,” says Robin Hilicke, Head of Quality Management. “Our top audit results and the renewed DLG award demonstrate that we live up to this ambition every day – from the selection of raw materials to the finished product.”
At its production sites in Polch (Rhineland-Palatinate), Kahla (Thuringia), and Wurzen (Saxony), Griesson - de Beukelaer systematically monitors raw materials, processes, and products. The foundation is the company’s own code for food safety, consumer protection, and sustainability, which goes beyond legal requirements and meets globally recognized standards. With this renewed award, the DLG confirms Griesson - de Beukelaer’s continuous commitment to quality and its ambition to produce biscuits and snacks of the highest quality.
The “Award for Long-Standing Product Quality” is granted exclusively to companies whose products have been regularly and successfully tested by the DLG for at least five consecutive years. Criteria include sensory quality, packaging and labeling, as well as comprehensive laboratory analyses. Any interruption in testing or failure to achieve the required awards results in the loss of the distinction.
