20 pallets for the princely couple: once again Griesson - de Beukelaer donates biscuits for throwing to the crowds during the Carnival Monday procession

The family company has been one of the main sponsors of the Koblenz Carnival for many years

The fiery Prince Marcel I. from Niederberg and his lovely companion Rebecca could hardly believe their eyes: this year once again Griesson - de Beukelaer (GdB) provided the Koblenz Carnival couple with 20 pallets of biscuits to throw to the crowds gathered to watch the Carnival Monday procession.

On Thursday 1 February, press spokesman Peter Gries welcomed the couple from the Carnival association “Närrisches Corps Blau-Weiß e.V., Niederberg” and their entourage with a sparkling wine reception at the GdB logistics centre. This was followed by the ceremonial handover of the Carnival confectionery, which almost filled an entire truck.

In cooperation with the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Koblenzer Karneval (AKK), GdB has been one of the main sponsors of the Koblenz Carnival for many years. “Prinzen Rolle and many of our other products have now become an essential part of the Carnival activities”, said Peter Gries. “As a family company from the region, we are especially pleased to be able to spread even more happiness around the Carnival Monday procession in this way.” Over 100,000 revellers will be there in Koblenz to enjoy the sweet treats on Carnival Monday.
