For us, baking has a lot to do with nature. It is a matter of pride for us: That's why products, such as our DeBeukelaer Cereola Hafer-Cookies, are certified organic and carry the Bio-Siegel.

Griesson - de Beukelaer is conscious of its responsibility towards consumers and the environment. That's why we attach great importance to the place of origin and the processing of our raw materials. Food safety and consumer protection are given top priority. Only the highest quality ingredients make it into our bakeries.

With us you can be sure that we reject genetically modified raw ingredients as a matter of principle. Instead we deliberately use organically grown raw ingredients because organic foods generally contain fewer food additives. We also manufacture our products in an environmentally sustainable manner.

Independent institutes have rated Griesson - de Beukelaer among the very top companies in terms of quality assurance. The International Food Standard certification authority highlights our outstanding quality assurance system and has awarded our individual production sites its highest rating. The IFS certificate proves that we make quality our top priority.

The protection of nature is of major importance to us. Consequently, we use certified palm oil or palm kernel fat from sustainable sources in the manufacture of our products. We are a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), an organisation that promotes sustainable cultivation methods for palm oil growing. A large part of the palm oil we use is already RSPO certified.

Cocoa is another raw ingredient where sustainability is very important to us. Since 2012 we have been buying 100% UTZ certified cocoa for our branded products, in order to promote socially and environmentally friendly cocoa farming.
