This year Griesson - de Beukelaer (GdB) is once again supporting the Koblenz Carnival's royal couple with 20 pallets of pastry products that will be thrown to the crowds cheering the Shrove Monday procession. For this purpose, the Prince and Princess from the Gülser Hussars and their entourage were welcomed at the GdB logistics centre in Koblenz on 27 January at 11.11 am. After a ceremonial welcome with champagne reception, press spokesman Peter Gries presented the GdB company's carnival treats to Prince Frank von Güls am See and Her Royal Loveliness Confluentia Melina. The royal couple was absolutely amazed by the large amount of sweet treats, which filled almost a whole lorry.

"As a family business from the region we are particularly pleased that our Prinzen Rolle and many other products will once again form a central part of the carnival proceedings and ensure that spectators have even more fun during the Shrove Monday procession," said Peter Gries. In cooperation with the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Koblenzer Karneval (AKK - the working group that organises the Koblenz Carnival), GdB has been one of the main sponsors of the traditional Koblenz Carnival for many years. Every year during the Shrove Monday procession in Koblenz more than 100,000 spectators enjoy the tasty treats distributed by the royal couple and its entourage.
