WHAT DATA IS COLLECTED AND HOW IS IT COLLECTED WHEN YOU VISIT THIS WEBSITE?
We only record personal data that you wish to provide us or that is necessary so we can provide our service to you. When you visit our website, by default our web servers save amongst other things

  • details of the browser and operating system you are using
  • the website from which you are visiting us
  • the websites of ours that you visit
  • the date of your visit
  • also for security reasons, e.g. to recognise attacks on our websites and for a period of seven days the Internet Protocol address (IP address) that was allocated to you by your Internet Service Provider.

Other personal data are stored if you give these to us voluntarily. Thus you provide us with your email address, your name, your postal address, your phone number and as the case may be other data in order to receive information about our products, take part in competitions or surveys, buy products or simply keep up to date on the products that interest you.

When you access our website and enter something in free text fields and for example comment, our systems will store your IP address. We need this information for security reasons, to prevent misuse and for other risk prevention purposes.

 

SECURITY
We take technical and organisational security measures to protect the data belonging to you that we manage against manipulation, loss, destruction and access by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological development.

Only authorised employees have access to your personal data. As the case may be, these can also be authorised employees of our service providers who process the data on our behalf or have access to these data. In this case we will have concluded a so-called “contract data processing agreement” with the service provider.

 

FOR WHAT PURPOSES DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We use your personal data for purposes of the technical administration of the website, for customer management, for answering your questions as part of our consumer service, for product enquiries and surveys, and for marketing only to the extent necessary for this at any time. We only use your personal data for the purposes for which you have provided them to us. 

If you have given us your consent to process your personal data, these data will also be used for the purposes stated in the corresponding consent, e.g. sending a newsletter, sending you products. You can retract your consent to this at any time with future effect.

In terms of individual use, we want to make our advertising media, such as our newsletter and your visit to our websites, as user-friendly and individual as possible. Automatically generated information and the information you have provided help us here to provide individual and customised information for you. Amongst other things, this information includes “technical data” (e.g. IP address, the operating system, browser), date and time of your visit to our website and “behavioural data” (service history, recipes and products you have viewed). 

 

TRANSMISSION OF YOUR DATA TO THIRD PARTIES AND OTHER COUNTRIES
We will not make your personal data available to any other company wishing to use them for direct marketing activities unless you have given us your permission to do so. Furthermore we will provide your personal data to the other bodies below to a greatly limited extent:

 

  • Our service providers, so that they can assist us for example in administering our website or sending out products and newsletters. We have contractually obliged these companies to take the same security measures as we have with regard to your personal data, to preserve the confidentiality of your data and only to process them on our express instructions. 
  • Other companies in our group, provided you have consented to this or these companies work on our behalf as our service providers and we have contractually obliged them in the same way as our service providers.
  • Transmissions of personal data to government institutions and authorities take place only in the context of obligatory valid legal provisions.

Your personal data can be transmitted to other countries if one of our service providers has its registered office abroad. In this case a so-called “contract data processing agreement” is concluded with the service provider to ensure that the same degree of data protection and data security exists as prevails in Germany. This is guaranteed among other things by the fact that the service provider is obliged to act exclusively on our instructions and to continuously take all technical measures to protect your personal data to the same extent as here.

If personal data are processed in a country outside the EU and the EEA, we either ensure the appropriate level of data protection by concluding the standard agreement provided for this by the EU or an adequacy decision from the EU Commission is in place for the country concerned.

RIGHTS OF PERSONS AFFECTED
Your rights in respect of your personal data are stated below:

  • The right to information, correction, deletion restriction of processing, objection to processing and the right to data transferability.
  • You also have the right to retract any consent you have granted for the processing of your personal data at any time with future effect.
  • To assert these rights please contact our data protection officer using the contact details stated above. 
  • In addition we would like to draw your attention to the fact that in every one of our newsletters you have the option of unsubscribing from this service and thus retracting your consent.
  • Unfortunately due to the lack of clear identification it is not possible to obtain information about your personal data by phone.
  • In addition you have the right of complaint to a data protection supervisory authority.

WEB ANALYSIS BY MATOMO

This website uses the web analysis tool Matomo. Matomo uses cookies to carry out analyses. The information gathered through the cookies, e.g. time, location and frequency of your visit to the website, including your IP address, are transferred to our own analysis server and stored there. During this process, your IP address will be immediately anonymised so that you can remain anonymous as a user. MTCAPTCHA

To safeguard our contact forms, we use the Captcha Service MTCaptcha. This service conforms to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). MTCaptcha does not store any personal data. IP addresses are anonymised. FACEBOOK
On our website we have mainly integrated links to the external social network Facebook. You will recognise the Facebook plugins on our site by the Facebook logo or the Like button. For this we generally do not use Facebook social plug-ins. Clicking on these symbols will forward you directly to the Facebook website, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, (Facebook).

If you do not want Facebook to be able to assign the data collected via our website directly to your Facebook account, you will need to log out of your Facebook account before visiting our website. Our website incorporates links to the Instagram service operated by Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA. For this we do not use Instagram social plug-ins. Clicking on this symbol will forward you directly to the Instagram website.

HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?
We store your personal data that you transmit to us via our websites in our databases. These data are stored for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which you which you have provided us with your data or for us to comply with the legal regulations (e.g. statutory duties of retention). This means for example that we will store your data until we have answered a question from you or a competition has finished. If you have given us your consent for the storage of your personal data for marketing purposes, this means that your data will be stored for the period during which we take marketing measures or until you retract your agreement. If you have issued your consent to receiving advertising, you can retract this at any time with future effect.
