Award-winning quality: Griesson - de Beukelaer (GdB) has received the "Award for constant product quality" from the German Agricultural Society (DLG) for the 32nd time. It stands for the consistent pursuit of quality and is only awarded if food has been regularly and successfully tested for at least five years.
Numerous products from the sweet and savoury biscuit manufacturer GdB are analysed in detail every year during the DLG quality tests. The result was convincing throughout – in sensory product analysis as well as in packaging and labelling testing and in laboratory analyses. "This award confirms our high quality standards, which we can guarantee thanks to our experienced employees," says Andreas Nickenig, spokesperson for the management at GdB. "We check the raw materials, processes and products in every area and set the highest standards for ingredients and production processes with our own food safety and consumer protection code."
Companies not only have to participate in the DLG Test Centre for Food's international quality tests for five years in a row but they also have to achieve at least three awards per year. The company is presented with the "Award for constant product quality" from the fifth successful year of participation. If a manufacturer does not participate in a year or does not achieve the required number of awards, they lose their right to the award.
