Sustainable award for Griesson - de Beukelaer (GdB): This year, for the 36th time, the family-run company receives the "Award for longstanding product quality" from the German Agricultural Society (DLG). This award is aimed at companies in the food industry that voluntarily have their products tested by DLG experts and underlines the consistent product quality, for which GdB has stood for decades. "The high quality standards are part of our self-image. We check the raw materials, processes and products in every area and set the highest standards for ingredients and production processes with our own code for food safety, consumer protection and sustainability," says Robin Hilicke, Head of Quality Management.
Companies must participate for five consecutive years in the product-specific International quality tests of the DLG Test Center Food and achieve at least three awards per award year. From the fifth successful year of participation, the company is awarded the "Award for long-term product quality". If a manufacturer does not participate in a year or does not achieve the required number of awards, it loses its entitlement to the award.
"The award winners document their quality strategy as a clear promise to consistent quality assurance and further development," says DLG President Hubertus Paetow, emphasizing the renewed award for Griesson - de Beukelaer.
